Apple is getting ready to release a new iPad model following a gap of eighteen months. Will it make any impact on the sales of MacBook ??

Apple's introduction of the M1 Apple Silicon chipset in 2020 caused a vast impact on both their own laptop and desktop business as well as on their competitors. The release of the M2 chipset continued to keep the competition on their toes. Now, as the M3 iteration approaches, we are witnessing the rise of ARM-based competitors powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon X Elite.

Apple is hinting at the release of a new iPad and Apple Pencil. The last iPad re
lease was in October 2022. There are rumors of two new iPad Air models coming out, one with a 10.9 inch display and the other with a 12.9 inch display.

The M4 will come with the usual changes in specifications that occur with yearly chip upgrades. However, it will have a significant addition that the M3 lacks: artificial intelligence. Apple incorporates AI in various applications and procedures, particularly in image processing and predictive typing. Nevertheless, it has lagged behind rival manufacturers who provide specialized hardware to support the AI revolution.

Apple can introduce its "big" hardware into the AI arena with the M4 chipset, while the "mobile" A18 will make its debut with the iPhone 16 family in September. If the iPad Pro, which was announced in May, is equipped with the M4 chipset, it will become Apple's first hardware focused on AI, surpassing the iPhone and Mac family.

Apple is really hoping that everyone's excitement for a new MacBook will help them sell more. They want to make sure that people still think that the MacBook is cool and awesome even while they're waiting for the new model.
